Suspended Solids Sensor (SS)
The online suspended solids sensor is based on the ISO 7027 standard method, using 135-degree backscattered infrared light technology, combined with a new generation smart digital sensor.
Thanks to its advanced design, it ensures automatic compensation for voltage fluctuations, component aging and temperature variations, thus guaranteeing reliable and stable measurement. The sensor delivers a standardized digital signal that can be directly used, without the need for a dedicated controller, and can be easily integrated into networks or automation systems.
Recommended areas of application:
Wastewater treatment: continuous monitoring of suspended solids at the inlet, in the aeration and settling tanks.
Control of sludge concentration in treatment processes.
Online monitoring of suspended solids in natural environments (rivers, lakes, canals) particularly loaded with sediment or runoff water.
