Blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) sensor
The cyanobacteria sensor uses the unique fluorescence effect of phycocyanin and phycoerythrin present in cyanobacteria to perform detection. This analyzer uses a high-brightness, wavelength-specific LED to excite cyanobacteria in water samples. The phycocyanin or phycoerythrin contained in the cyanobacteria then emits fluorescence. A high-sensitivity photoelectric sensor integrated into the analyzer captures this weak fluorescent signal and converts it into a value representing the cyanobacteria density.
