Can I use the SkimAtom in my infinity pool?

Yes, the SkimAtom has been designed for all types of pools.

Can I start the SkimAtom outside of the water?

It is not recommended to start the motors outside of the water. This could damage the propellers. Make sure to wait until the robot is in the water before using it.

Does the SkimAtom work in the rain?

The SkimAtom is waterproof and works in the rain or under a fountain. However, the SkimAtom does not work underwater, so it is recommended not to submerge it. See the general conditions of sale.

Should I remove the SkimAtom from the pool when the water temperature is too hot or too cold?

You should only remove the SkimAtom from the pool when the temperature drops below -10° Celsius. Freezing water could damage the robot.


Do I still need a vacuum for my pool? Or a filter?

You still need to filter your pool, but because the SkimAtom regularly removes most debris, your pool filter runs less and your pump's life is extended.
